The North Island Wellness Society (NIWS) and IICRD are working together to develop a child and family services system which allows for active community engagement in its planning process. This engagement is to ensure that elements such as the community’s language and culture become important aspects in the development of the system.

IICRD will be using the Triple A process of Mapping, Engaging, Planning, and Integrating, to ensure that the communities are able to develop a system from within their community which reflects their needs and allows for decision-making control over child and family services.
