On December 6, 2016, Katie Shaw-Raudoy was elected as IICRD President.  Previous to joining the IICRD Board of Directors in December 2013, Katie was engaged with IICRD as an Associate. Katie Shaw is a Senior Consultant with Global Public Affairs in Victoria, a national public affairs firm. Prior to joining Global, Katie worked for twelve years in the not-for-profit and community development sectors, managing and developing a variety of development and capacity-building initiatives with a focus on youth and citizen engagement. Katie has had the opportunity to work closely with municipal, provincial and federal governments, demonstrating the ability to effectively engage with First Nations and immigrant/newcomer populations and has a strong track record developing and connecting policy to community implementation. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Masters of Arts in Community Leadership and Adult Education from the University of Victoria. Katie is a mother of three beautiful children, living in Victoria, BC.
